Mellà pittrice

Hi, I' m Mellà. My real name is Giusi Giunta. I was born in Sicily but I grew up in Turin where I studied tecnical painting with professor Carlo Terzolo. In 1985 I moved to St. Lucie W. I. in the Caribbean where I lived till 1990. There I met people with different cultures coming from all over the world. Thus I could enrich my knowledge of the world and my personality. In those magic islands I could find bright, strong and intense colours which would become very important in my art/ palette. From 1991 to 1994 I lived in Nice and Montecarlo: there the way of life and the reality were completely different from the subtle emotions conveyed by the Caribbean because of the stressful, hectic life and for the material wealth typical of those places. Now I' m living and working in Chivasso ( Turin- Italy ).
